Sisters on the Streets

Founded in 2016 with twin sister Alycia. The Rathbone sisters, lifelong activists for unhoused populations, started this program to address the lack of period supplies for women on the streets. So far, they have distributed over 400,000 period products and the organization continues to  grow. More than supplying needed products, Laura and Alycia are committed to removing the stigmas associated with the most basic needs of women, as well as forging connections and building community. These women are all heart and all action, and they are not slowing down. Laura’s is an incredible example of a LaborofLove making real impact.
